Another part of the candle project, this time played about with gloves, filled one with redish liquid and popped it in the freezer, til it was frozen solid. Had loads of problems with the fingers falling off!! Anyway, placed it in a corner with a candle behind and experimented with the lighting.
Very interesting, Sandra. It looks as though you are dealing with molten metal rather than red ice. What a cool effect!
